What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
This website is operated by The Atlas Team, a mortgage lending team powered by Lower, LLC. Our office is at 550 S Mesa Hills Dr, Suite F-1, El Paso, TX 79912.
Lower, LLC (NMLS# 1124061) is the lender. Where you make a loan enquiry or application through us, Lower’s own privacy practices also apply to the handling of that application.
When you complete a form on this site — a general enquiry or a loan officer application — we collect what you enter. Typically that is your name, email address, telephone number, the state you are buying in, the type of loan you are interested in, and anything you write in a free-text field.
You choose what to tell us. You do not need to give us anything to read this site, use the calculators or read the glossary. None of those tools send what you type anywhere — the figures are worked out in your browser and are not transmitted to us or stored.
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may record technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you viewed, and the site you arrived from. This is used to understand how the site is used and to keep it working.
We do not run a credit check because you visited this website. A credit enquiry only happens if you formally apply for a loan and give permission at that point.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
This site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences and understand how pages are used. Your browser lets you refuse or delete cookies; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
We honour Global Privacy Control and similar browser-level opt-out signals where the law requires it.
We keep enquiry and application information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and then for as long as our legal and regulatory obligations require. Mortgage record-keeping rules mean this can be a number of years. Where we no longer need information and are not required to keep it, we delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have specific rights under those laws. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify who you are before we act, which protects you as much as us.
To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in any message. To stop calls or texts, tell the person contacting you, or write to us.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — and you should not send sensitive information such as a Social Security number or bank details through a website form or by email. If we need that information, we will tell you how to provide it securely.
This website is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
